Shaping Their Future
Executive Director Jeff Park and the CEZ Board announces the CEZ theme for 2012 is “Shaping Their Future”. In the midst of so many worldly influences of evil and despair, the CEZ brings hope and ability for a much different and brighter future for the scores of marginalized children served.
Says Jeff, “God has entrusted these children to us to shape and re-shape their future through our tutoring, sports, creative arts and spiritual enrichment programs. To be most effective, everything we do must personally touch each child’s heart and mind. The loving attention our staff and volunteers provide makes the critical difference – children that were literally failing in secular community tutoring have now made the honor roll in our program.”
The “Shaping Their Future” theme will coordinate the volunteer recruitment efforts, 2012 fundraising events, as well as the numerous outreach programs that CEZ sponsors throughout the year.
